動力控制主要控制循環泵、注油泵、助燃空氣風機、燃燒器等設備的起動與停止，同時循環泵與燃燒器之間進行聯鎖控制以保證加熱爐進行安全運行。

儀表顯示控制通常采用出口油溫控制燃燒器進行油溫調節、進出口油溫顯示、熱載體壓差報警、膨脹槽液位報警及最終排煙溫度顯示，采用溫度信號控制燃燒器，使其達到自動控制功能。
